Delicious churro recipe

Hello! So today I made some delicious churro's. These tasted amazing and they weren't super hard to make either. On a scale from 1-5 (1 being the easiest and 5 being the hardest)the whole process was probably a 3. These took about 45 minutes or so to do the whole thing. The recipe made a lot for me. But I made my churro's on the smaller side. Overall an amazing recipe and I would totally make them again.

Ingredients:
~1 cup (250ml) water
  • ~1/4 cup (56g) unsalted butter, diced into small cubes
~1 Tbsp (13g) granulated sugar
  • ~1/4 tsp salt
  • ~1 cup (141g) all-purpose flour
  • ~1 large egg
  • ~1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • ~Vegetable oil

For coating
  • ~1/2 cup (100g) granulated sugar
  • ~3/4 tsp ground cinnamon

Instructions:
1) First add the water(1 cup),sugar(1 Tbsp),butter(1/4 cup), and salt(1/4 tsp) in a small pot over medium/high heat.
2) Once the water, sugar, butter, and salt are all mixed together, add the flour(1 cup)and lower the heat to medium/low. Then stir with a spatula until smooth.
3) Move the dough to a mixing bowl and let it sit there for a few minutes.
4) Now in another bowl mix together the sugar(1/2 cup) and cinnamon(3/4 tsp)to make the coating.
5) Now add the vanilla extract(1/2 tsp) and the large egg to the dough. Mix until  the dough comes back together.
6) Take the dough and put it into a 16 inch piping bag fitted with a rounded star  tip.
7) Now put about 1 1/2 inches of oil into a pot or a deep skillet over medium high heat. About 360 degrees Fahrenheit. Wait a few minutes until oil is hot.
8) Now that the oil is hot, pipe the dough into the oil at desired length and cut with clean scissors.
9) Let fry until a soft brown (the website says 2 minutes on each side but it  didn't take me that long). Then put on a plate briefly and dip the churro's into the cinnamon and sugar coating.
10)Repeat until you don't have any dough left. Add chocolate or other toppings of  your choice.
